Khattar launches CM portal, window

Haryana chief minister ML Khattar on Thursday launched the CM web portal and CM window in all districts and online registration of sale deeds in eight tehsils here on the occasion of "Good Governance Day".

Addressing the administrative secretaries and deputy commissioners through video conferencing, Khattar said the state government planned to carry out property indexing of individual as well as area population so that a consolidated database could be prepared to meet the requirements of a particular area or region.

He paid tributes to Pt Madan Mohan Malaviya and extended good wishes to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Khattar thanked the Union government for bestowing them with the country's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna.

He said his government had completed nearly two months and it was observed that a lot of grievances of individuals as well as public were pending for the past many years. He said the state government's priority was to ensure minimum administration-maximum governance.

He also directed the DCs to work on the new system and show their performance. Apart from all district headquarters, CM window was launched by finance minister Capt Abhimanyu from Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi. All the DCs informed Khattar about the launching of CM window in their respective districts.

Earlier, speaking on the occasion, chief secretary PK Gupta said the new IT based system would help in bridging gap between government and common people and grievances would be redressed speedily.

The CM portal has been designed on the pattern of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and additional links have been added to this. An important feature of the web portal is 'share your ideas' where anyone can share ideas with the chief minister's office. One can visit CM web portal at

The officer on special duty (grievances) to CM Bhupeshwar Dayal highlighted the features of the CM grievances redressal system, which has an integrated workflow system based on web technology.

On entry into the system, it facilitates system generated unique registration number. The entered data is transmitted between DCs, departments and their subordinate offices online. The system also facilitates online tracking of status of grievances, he added.

While DCs or administrative secretaries would review pendency of grievances online, SMS alert would be sent by the grievance redressal monitoring system to the citizens at pre-defined intervals and first detailed reply to the citizens would have to be sent in seven days time, he added.
