Khattar's enrollment to mark BJP membership drive on Nov 10

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar would enroll himself as the first member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on November 10 when the party will launch its membership drive for the state at Rohtak.

Stating that education and transport minister Ram Bilas Sharma, who is also president of the state unit of the party would launch the drive by enrolling Khattar as its first member of Haryana, a party release said the function would be attended by Anil Jain, state in-charge; Sudha Yadav, national secretary and joint in-charge of membership drive of the party in the state, and Suresh Bhatt, secretary, organisation, Haryana.

Party state spokesman Vir Kumar Yadav said, in the release, that Dinesh Sharma, BJP national vice-president and national in-charge of the drive, had deputed MLA Munish Grover as in-charge of the membership drive while Deepak Mangla and Rameshwar Chauhan were named as joint in-charges of the said drive, which would continue till March 31, 2015.
