Knitwear manufacturers of the city are gearing up for the three-day buyer-seller meet to be held in New Delhi from July 6 to 8.About 60 manufacturers from Ludhiana, which is the hub of knitwear industry in the country, are expected to exhibit the samples of products they have planned to manufacture for the coming winter season.
President of club, Darshan Dawar, who is busy in chalking out the preparations for the event in New Delhi said the event would give them ideas about the requirements of dealers in New Delhi and its adjoining area.
“The event which will witness participation of over 60 manufactures from the city and dealers from New Delhi and adjoining areas will draw an outline of production planning for the next winter season. The industry will place the samples of products and the buyers are expected to place their orders in the meet after assessing the market for the products comparing the trends which prevailed in market last year,” he said.
After the buyer-seller meet organised by knitwear and apparel manufacturers association in May this year, this is another main event on which knitwear industry was relying for drawing an outline for manufacturing for coming winter season.
As in the buyer-seller meet, which was organised in the month of May, manufacturers received increased orders, they are expecting the same trend in the New Delhi event also.
