Hours after being told again not to attend the House for some time, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann sought to be allowed to attend the proceedings while the jury was out.
The Sangrur MP said he was being “stopped from raising the voice of the people, including the poor and the Dalits”. “Throw me out but decide fast. Now they will take two more weeks, which means I am virtually out of the Parliament session, which will end on August 12. Let the panel probe but let me attend the House till then. I am not guilty yet,” said Mann. He said he will not change his reply to the Lok Sabha speaker on the breach-of-security issue.
“They (panel) want me to change my reply. They want me to delete the name of the PM and the ISI. I will not do that,” he claimed.
