A man, who was denied his father's complete postmortem report by the Sudhar community health centre (CHC) staff giving baseless reasons, received the report with the help of 104 medical helpline.
Complainant Mandeep Singh said, “He got the report, but as the doctor concerned was transferred to another hospital, he didn't get his signature on the report due to which the staff denied providing complete report. When he was not able to get his father's postmortem report duly signed by the authorities concerned, despite repeated attempts, he contacted 104 helpline.”
Complainant said that he waited for postmortem report for a long time, but he got no response from the authorities concerned.
Jagdeep Singh, cluster leader of Ziqitza Health Care Limited, which runs 104 medical helpline, said, “The complaint was recorded under emergency category and the matter was taken up by 104 medical helpline with senior medical officer of CHC Sudhar and Ludhiana civil surgeon.”
Mandeep said, “After the intervention of 104 medical helpline, the complaint got resolved and the report was immediately provided to me.”
