Ludhiana: One dies of swine flu, three other test positive
A 57-year-old man from Barnala died of swine flu on Monday. He was admitted at Oswal Hospital on February 21.
A 57-year-old man from Barnala died of swine flu on Monday. He was admitted at Oswal Hospital on February 21.
Apart from him, three other patients have tested positive for the disease. These include a 4-year-old girl from Islam Ganj, a 3-year-old boy from Civil Lines, Ludhiana and a 36-year-old man from Phillaur.
The patients are admitted in Christian Medical College and Hospital, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, and CMCH respectively.
With this, the total diagnosed cases registered in Ludhiana hospitals have reached to 29 out of which 11 were from Ludhiana and the rest from other nearby districts.
The death toll has reached six out of which two were from Jalandhar, two from Kapurthala and one each from Moga and Barnala districts.
