4 World Kabbadi League matches to be played in Ludhiana

In a bid to popularise kabaddi across the world, the World Kabbadi League will be held in after first leg of the matches were held abroad.


Four matches of the league will be played in Ludhiana, which will be played at Astrotaraf  Hockey Stadium at Punjab Agricultural University.

The district administration has already started the preparations. League commissioner and MLA, Pargat Singh visited the hockey stadium to take stock of the preparations.
Singh said, "Four matches of the league will be played at Ludhiana on September 6 and 7. The initiative to bring re-launch kabaddi  is wbeing appreciated widely by sportspersons."

He added that the security arrangements were already in place.The security and administration officials also accompanied Singh to the venue.
