A teacher of BVM School, Udham Singh Nagar, Rajni Arora, was honoured for her selfless contribution in spreading education. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) celebrated National Education Day to mark the birthday of first education minister of independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

Entries from across India were invited for the education day celebrations and out of eight zones, 16 teachers were selected for their exemplary and torch-bearing contribution in spreading education among the masses, especially the under privileged. Arora was among the selected teachers.

These selected teachers had to present their work in the form of power point presentation or some documentary. Rajni along with her student Nav Rattan presented a very motivating documentary depicting their incessant efforts. They were awarded Rs. 10,000 along with certificate of honour for their selfless service towards mankind.
