Carrying firearms banned during New Year parties

Taking cognisance of the incident that took place at 'The Hub' on December 24, the police commissioner has set guidelines for the programmes and parties proposed for the New Year's eve at various hotels, restaurants and farm houses.


According to the orders issued by police commissioner Ishwar Singh, carrying firearms and other weapons have been banned in the parties.

The police commissioner has also warned the organisers not to allow anyone to take narcotics during the parties.

Singh also asked the organisers not to play loud music from 10 pm to 6 am and manage the parking outside their compounds.

He also asked the organisers to take permission from the police before organising any kind of programmed.
