Former district president of Congress in Ludhiana, KK Bawa, also paid tributes to the leader on his birth anniversary.

However, the members of Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee (CTCC) also paid tributes to former prime minister Rajeev Gandhi on his birth anniversary at Congress Bhawan, Sector 35, Chandigarh, on Wednesday.

While addressing the gathering, Pawan Bansal, former union minister, said though Gandhi was the prime minister of the country for only five years, his policies and planning would guide the country for the next century.
