Miscreants vandalise ATM machine, took CCTV's away

Some miscreants tried to rob an ATM of Central Bank in Chet Singh Nagar, on Friday night, but failed to steal money. The miscreants vandalised the ATM machine and also took away CCTV cameras. Shimlapuri Police registered a case against unidentified persons in the context on Friday.


The complainant Lakhwinder Singh, a resident of Guru Teg Bahadur in a statement given to police said he was shocked to see that the ATM machine installed in Chet Singh Nagar was damaged. He immediately informed the police. When the police initiated investigation they found that the CCTV cameras installed in the ATM cabin were also stolen.

SHO police station Shimlapuri, Kuljeet Singh Nagra said, the police initiated the investigation in the case and trying to trace the accused.
