Nikhil Singal Noble Trust (Regd.), a Ludhiana-based NGO in collaboration and support of another NGO Om Shri Sai Sewa Trust (Regd.), Humbran Road, Ludhiana, provided 24 water coolers and 35 water purifiers at different schools located in the most polluted areas.

During counseling of the children and interaction with principals of their institutions, it was observed that most of the institutions were unable to provide clean drinking water to their students.

Direct contaminated underground water was the only source of drinking water which had an adverse effect on the health of students.

With the onset of summer, there is an utmost urgency of providing clean and cold water to the students especially of schools located in slums and polluted areas. The task is gigantic and demands collective efforts of the society as a whole.

Nikhil Singal Noble Trust (Regd.) urged the fortunate and the resourceful persons/organisations to voluntarily come forward and contribute their bit to provide clean and cold water to students of educational institutions so that the upcoming generation of not-so-fortunate people may not only be educated but healthy as well.
