Police recover missing girl, hand over to parents

The police took quick action in a case of missing girl by launching a special drive and eventually found her from Jainpur village on Sunday and handed her over to parents.


Papla (5) of Valmiki Park of Ghumar Mandi went missing on Saturday. She was playing in the street with her siblings and suddenly disappeared.

Sub-inspector Pawan Kumar, in-charge of Ghumar Mandi police post, said Bablu, father of the girl, approached the police over the missing of his daughter. The police formed teams for searching the missing girl. They alerted the patrolling parties at the railway station and the bus stand.

On Sunday, the police came to know that a girl had been spotted in Jainpur village where she was found crying continuously. The police recovered the girl and informed the family about. The family identified the girl as their daughter. After confirming, the police handed over the girl to the family.

The girl said she lost her way and reached to Jainpur village. A family gave her shelter and food.
