Police to take strict action against anti-social elements

The police administration has geared up to deal strictly with those would create hooliganism during Holi.

Ludhiana police spokesperson ADCP Bhupinder Singh, while talking to HT, said, “Special instructions have been issued to police officials for dealing strictly with the anti-social elements creating hooliganism during Holi.”

Special naka would be set up in the different parts of the city and those playing Holi on motorcycles on city roads will be punished, he added.

The ADCP appealed to residents to celebrate the festival of colours peacefully.
