PSEB Class-10 exams: Two students caught using unfair means

Two students of Class 10 were caught using unfair means during the maths exam of Punjab School Education Board on Monday.

While one student was caught with 12 chits at Government Senior Secondary School, Ghudani Kalan, another student was caught using a Bluetooth device with a mobile phone at Government Senior Secondary School, Behulpur, Samrala.

Charanjit Singh, deputy director of education (DEO) (secondary), confirmed the case involving the student caught at Ghudani, "A case has been registered, and a report sent to the Punjab School Education Board and the DGSE's office for further action."

Both the students were caught during inspections by the teams of the PSEB.

Inspections were also carried out at Government High School, Amloh (Khanna); Government Senior Secondary School, Daheru; Saraswati Model School, Doraha; and Government High School, Ghulati.

The student who was caught with the bluetooth device was a private candidate. Centre superintendent Kuldip Singh said the caught student also misbehaved with him, so he was not allowed to sit for the exam. His answer sheet has been sent to the PSEB.
