Ranveer Singh to gyrate to retro songs in kabaddi cup closing ceremony

When spectators would be engrossed in their beloved game of kabaddi as India take on Pakistan in the men's final match on Saturday, the closing ceremony would feature actor Ranveer Singh regenerate the retro era with his performance.

Along with a professional troupe from Delhi, students will add to the charm of show, dancing with the actor. Ranveer will be performing on a medley of songs like Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, Mehbuba, Band Baja Baarat, Aivey Aivey, Merey Sapno ki Rani, with dialogues spicing up the performance.

In addition to Ranveer, singers Jaspinder Narula, Lakhwinder Wadali, Master Saleem and Roshan Prince will add charisma to the event. A Pakistani singer Feriha Parvez will also perform to allure the audience.

Prachi Narayan, brand manager of event organiser company Ferriswheels, said the programme would be anchored by Mona Singh. Other performances like bhangra, giddha and gatka show will reflect the rich Punjabi heritage and culture.
