Residents take up property tax issues with officials at MC Zone A office

A seminar on property tax was held at Municipal Corporation Zone A office in which city residents held discussions with the MC officials regarding submitting property tax and issues related to it.

Several people and NGOs had also come to the Zone A office, in which officials having knowledge about property tax were present.

The seminar started at 3pm and continued for nearly two hours.

Kamlesh Bansal commissioner Zone A said: “An interaction with the general public of Ludhiana was held at Zone A office, in which several people took part.”

“It was a general discussion on property tax and issues that concerned residents. A healthy discussion took place and concerns were noted down,” he said.

Joint commissioner PS Ghuman was also present in the seminar. He assured that the issues concerning city residents regarding property tax would be forwarded to the authorities concerned so that further action can be taken.

Dengue rampant in citywith three more cases

Three more dengue cases were confirmed in the city on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases in state to 20. Three patients, a 40-year-male from Haibowal Kalan, admitted to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), a 42-year-old female from Laddowal admitted to Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) and a 60-year-old male from Ferozepur, admitted to the DMCH, were tested positive for dengue fever.
