The school bus operators sat on hunger strike near Zone D of municipal corporation office on Wednesday. Talking to Hindustan Times, Darshan Sabharwal, president of the Schools Vans Operators Association, said, "We will continue this hunger strike on Thursday also."
For parents, there is yet another day of inconvenience, as they have to manage on their own to pick and drop their wards.
Anita Sharma, a parent, said, "We are being harassed as neither the schools nor the district transport office (DTO) is taking the responsibility. So, it is a big inconvenience for us. I am not sending my daughter to school from past two days, but I know it may not work for long, but still we are helpless."
