Malerkotla Quran sacrilege: Police have no evidence against me, says Naresh Yadav
The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) legislator Naresh Yadav, who is an accused in the Quran sacrilege incident in Malerkotla on June 24, on Saturday appeared in the sessions court here. The the next hearing in the case was scheduled for October 17.

Yadav said he was framed in the case under a well- planned conspiracy. He said police have no evidence against him and the court will soon declare him innocent.
He said he was framed under political vendetta and people would pay back to the Badals in the upcoming 2017 elections.
Yadav’s lawyer Harpal Cheema said they would present their arguments of being not guilty duing the next hearing on October 17.
He said Sucha Singh Chhotepur’s new party would not have any effect on the AAP. Moreover, Punjab people have already forgotten Chhotepur, added Yadav.
