Continuing the war of words between the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Aam Aadmi Party, Punjab cabinet minister Sikander Singh Maluka has accepted the challenge of AAP MP Bhagwant Mann to undergo dope test at any time.
Accused of appearing at public places in inebriated state, Mann had dared both Akali and Congress leaders to go for a dope test with him. “Let Mann decide the date and the place for the test. Let him also bring his colleague, Faridkot MP Sadhu Singh, for the same,” Maluka said in a press release issued here on Friday.
The minister said that besides dope test, politicians should also go through lie-detector test to come clean on the drug issue. “If I am found positive for any drug, I assure my political opponents that I’d quit politics. I dare other politicians to do the same, if they are caught,” he said.
