Man, aide booked for sending lewd SMSes to stepdaughter

A man has got registered an FIR against his stepfather and his aide for harassing his mother for divorce and also sending lewd messages to his sister.

Complainant Balbhoor Singh of Sargodha Colony on Pakhowal Road also alleged that the accused had threatened him of posting morphed pictures of his sister on a social networking site.

The Model Town police registered a case under section 354-A (making sexually coloured remarks or forcibly showing pornography) of the Indian Penal Code and section 66-A of the Information Technology Act against Barinderjit Singh Dhaliwal and his aide Varinder Singh of Model Town.

In his complaint, Balbhoor said after divorcing her first husband, his mother Jotveer Kaur marriage with Brinderjit on May 20, 2011. After the marriage, Barinderjit took Jotveer and mu two sisters to the US in August this year. After reaching the US, the accused started pressurising Jotveer for divorce. When she denied, the accused threatened her that he would defame her daughters.

Balbhoor alleged that Varinder had started sending lewd messages to one of his sisters on her mobile phone. The accused also threatened them of posting her morphed pictures on social networking sites.
Assistant sub-inspector Inderjit Singh said the police were investigating the matter and have launched a manhunt to arrest Varinder.
