The Division Number 4 police have booked a Gurgaon man and his four aides for trying to kidnap his son from the parental house of his estranged wife at Durgapuri of Haibowal on Wednesday

In her complaint, Jahnvi Sharma said she married Naveen Sharma of Ratan Vihar of Gurgaon over a year ago and had a son. However, their relations turned sour, following which she moved to her parental house in Durgapuri. The matter is sub-judice.

Jahnvi alleged that on Wednesday, her husband, sisters-in-law Krishan Priya Sharma and Sahina; and her husband's friends Nindi and Suman reached her parental house and tried to kidnap her son. When she raised an alarm, they fled the scene after threatening her.

Sub-inspector Mukesh Kumar, incharge at Durga Puri police post, said a case under sections 363/511 (attempt to kidnap) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) was registered against the accused, adding that efforts were on to arrest the accused.
