The Jamalpur police booked a man for allegedly making obscene gestures towards her female neighbour on Friday.

The accused has been identified as Upkar Singh of MIG Colony, Jamalpur. In her complaint, the woman, who is in her 20s, alleged that her neighbour, Upkar Singh, used to sexually harass her.

She claimed that Singh was an alcoholic and his wife had abandoned him and used to live at her maternal house with her children.
