Accused Shatarpal Singh, resident of Ramuwal village, was a courier of two arrested BSF jawans, accused of cross-border smuggling.

A case under Sections 25, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against him at the Sarai Amanat Khan police station.

Singh said the accused, heading towards Cheema Kalan village in a car, was stopped at the check post.
