The army intelligence personnel have nabbed a person who was suspiciously loitering in the cantonment area near national highway 1 and have recovered some maps of local buildings and roads from his bag, sources said on Thursday.

They said the detained person was suspected to be a spy and was carrying a bag that had a binocular, torch and other documents.

According to the sources, the army authorities took him to some undisclosed destination and later handed him over to local police for further interrogation and verifying his antecedents.

He said further information will be given after the interrogation.
