Manpreet no challenge in Bathinda: Sukhbir
Deputy chief minister Sukhbir Badal on Monday said People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) chief Manpreet Badal will have no impact in Bathinda seat. Sukhbir, who had come to the city with his wife and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple, said, “The Congress is already in a disarray in Punjab and needs life support. But the support they have taken (Manpreet Badal) is already very weak."

Sukhbir, who had come to the city with his wife and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple, said, “The Congress is already in a disarray in Punjab and needs life support. But the support they have taken (Manpreet Badal) is already very weak.”
Sukhbir said the Congress is already “dead” in Punjab and now it has sought support from a weak PPP.
Later, the deputy chief minister held a meeting with the district administration officials led by deputy commissioner Ravi Bhagat and asked them to complete all the pending projects in time.
He stressed on the plaza outside the Golden Temple and asked the administration to get the project completed by Baisakhi.
DC Ravi Bhagat said, “Completion of the plaza is a top priority for us. Since this is of great importance for pilgrims, the work is going on in full swing to meet the deadline.”
The deputy chief minister also reviewed the progress in other projects such as the heritage village, Gobindgarh fort besides the road widening plan.
