Master Tara Singh's 130th birth anniversary celebrated

The Panth Rattan Sriman Master Tara Singh Yaadgari Committee celebrated 130th birth anniversary of Master Tara Singh at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College on Tuesday. Punjab Vidan Sabha speaker Charanjeet Singh Atwal presided over the function. He paid tribute to Tara Singh for his contribution towards Sikh society.

Atwal said, "He was a prominent political and religious leader and played an important role in organising the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee."

Master Tara Singh granddaughter Kiranjeet Kaur, who is a member of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee also participated in the event. She emphasised on the remarkable efforts and contributions made by his grandfather during independence. She encouraged the youth to follow his footsteps and take the country towards progress.
