Mata Gujri College to start M.Sc (agriculture)

Mata Gujri College here has decided to start new courses which includes M.Sc (agriculture), B.Sc( honours) in physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, maths, M.Sc (operation research), postgraduate diploma in graphics, animation and special effects and bachelor in journalism and mass communication (BJMC).

Mata Gujri College here has decided to start new courses which includes M.Sc (agriculture), B.Sc( honours) in physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, maths, M.Sc (operation research), postgraduate diploma in graphics, animation and special effects and bachelor in journalism and mass communication (BJMC).

After getting an approval from its academic council, college director-cum-principal Dr Jatinder Singh Sidhu, chairperson of the academic council, said that the college had already got an approval to start UGC-approved vocational courses in retail management, software development and career-oriented course in floriculture.

Dr Jamshid Ali Khan, dean, College Development Council, Punjabi University, Patiala, Dr B.S.

Ghuman, department of public administration, Punjab University, Chandigarh, Dr R.K Sharma, director, Cordia Group of Institutions, Sanghol, Dr J.S. Pasricha, department of commerce, Punjabi University, Patiala, Dr Aruna Bhatia, department of biotechnology, Punjabi University, Patiala were also present at the meeting.

The prospectus of the college was also released for degree and professional courses.
