The SAS Nagar municipal corporation (MC) is all set to give boost to its feedback and complaint system. The MC had started a toll free number (1800137007) in 2013 where the residents could register their complaints.
Now, the civic body has also invited people to give their feedback regarding the complaint system.
MC commissioner Uma Shankar Gupta said, "The MC was receiving several complaints regarding sewerage, water supply and sanitation. Now we have decided to ask for suggestions from the city residents so that we can improve the complaint redressal system."
Talking about the redressal system, he said these were being addressed at the earliest and people were even asked to give feedback once the problem was solved.
"The residents can also give their suggestions to the MC by writing an email on the address given on the official website of the SAS Nagar MC. Different cells have been set up to address complaints, besides appointing nodal officers to ensure they are disposed of in time," he said.
