A 16-year-old dalit minor girl was allegedly gangraped by four people in Unn village of Charkhi-Dadri subdivision of Bhiwani district on Tuesday.

The father of the girl has named four boys of the same village, alleging that they had raped the girl, when she was alone in the cattleshed near her house.

When contacted, Charkhi-Dadri DSP Ramesh Kumar said, "The father of the girl has filed the complaint, but we have not recorded the statement of the victim yet and she has been sent for the medical examination".

The DSP, who is also the investigation officer, also refused to disclose the names of the accused, saying, "The investigation is still going on. The names of the accused will be disclosed after the statement of the girl".

However, the police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and under Sections 442 and 376 of the IPC against the accused in Baund Kalan police station, said the DSP.
