The police have booked three men for allegedly gangraping a minor girl in Kotli Khurd village under Maur police station. Based on a complaint by the 16-year-old girl, a student of Class-11 at a school in Maur, the police have booked Badal Singh, Gora Singh and Sandeep Singh, residents of the same village, under section 376 IPC and the protection of children from sexual offenses Act.

The complainant alleged that the accused took her away to a secluded place while she was on her way to the school on Monday morning and raped her. "While I was on my way to the school, the three came and said that your mother was not feeling well so I needed to go home with them. I told them that I will take leave from the school then will go, but the three insisted and took me in a car to a secluded place where they raped me," she alleged.

She told the matter to family members and then the matter was reported to the police.

A medical examination of the girl was conducted at the Maur civil hospital on Tuesday.

Though the report of the examination of the victim is awaited, police sources have disclosed that prima facie rape has been confirmed in the medical examination.

Investigation officer, ASI, Bikar Singh said that police were searching for the accused and they would be arrested soon.
