Additional sessions judge Surinder Pal Kaur has prima facie considered two SAD leaders, Amit Kumar, alias Honey, and Balbir Chand, alias Beera, and one Bittu as accused in a case of abduction and rape of 12-year-old girl of Mullanpur Dakha on May 5, 2012.

Honey is the son of former president of the Mullanpur Mandi municipal council Prem Inder Kumar Goga.

The court, using its special powers under Section 319 (to summon and even order arrest of anyone) of the CrPC has ordered the trio to appear before it on July 5, along with the other accused.

Advocate Iqbal Singh, counsel of the complainant, alleged that as the accused were politically connected, no FIR was registered against them. He claimed that the challan was a shock to the complainant as the trio's name was missing from the chargesheet.

Honey and Beera are residents of ward number 12 of Mandi Mullanpur, while Bittu resides in Prem Nagar in the same town.
