MD Bhatt School located in Maharana Pratap Nagar was vandalised and the family of the school's owner was assaulted, when angry miscreants protested against the authorities on Wednesday morning.

According to the owner of the school Bhuvnesh Bhatt, the father of a 4-year old nursery student, filed an FIR at the Basti Jodhewal police station alleging that his daughter had been sexually abused in the school premises on Tuesday. Bhatt said that he had joined the investigation and would provide all possible help to the police.

The kin of the school's owner suffered severe injuries in the attack when miscreants, provoked by some local leaders confined the family and assaulted them. Later, the police rescued the family.

The injured have been admitted to DMC Hospital where the condition of the owner's brother Rajesh Bhatt (33), is critical.

Meanwhile, protestor blocked the national highway near Tibba Road chowk that resulted in a huge traffic jam. The protestors were demanding arrest of the 'rape' accused. Police assured action in the case, following which the protesters ended the protest.

The minor girl has been admitted to the civil hospital and the police have registered a case under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of Prevention of Children from Sexual Offence Act-2012, against unidentified accused, though the report of the tests to confirm the rape are yet to come.
