Missing boy traced to Ghaggar railway station

A day after a 12-year-old-boy went missing from Mubarikpur, he was found near Ghaggar railway station on Friday night.

As per reports, the boy’s father Baldev Raj, resident of Mubarikpur, had filed a complaint that his son, Gaurav, who used to help his maternal uncle at his fast food joint, was missing. After he left for work on Thursday evening.

On Raj’s complaint, the police began investigations and registered a case under sections 363 and 363A (kdinapping) of the IPC. Dera Bassi SP Anil Sharma said they swiftly started looking for Gaurav and found him near the railway station around 8:30pm on Friday.

He was later handed over to his parents.
