Missing son of Ludhiana industrialist found dead

Missing from past five days, Ravneet Singh Lotey alias Ravi Lotey (23), who is son of renowned industrialist Jagmohan Singh Lotey, has found dead on Tuesday. His dead body has been recovered from Sidhwan canal near Barewal on Tuesday.

After conducting post mortem the family has performed last rites of deceased on Tuesday. The police suspected that he has committed suicide by jumping in the canal. However, the reason behind the extreme step has not ascertained yet.

Inspector Gurdev Singh SHO at police station Dugri said that on Tuesday the police got information about a dead body floating in the canal near Barewal. The police have fished out the dead body with the help of divers. Later, Jagmohan Singh Lotey, owner of Barnala Auto Industries has identified the dead body as his son Ravneet Singh Lotey. The police have sent the dead body for post mortem.

Ravneet Singh Lotey, who was student of MBA was gone missing on Friday. His scooter was found near Dhuri Line bridge on Saturday. Before leaving the house he had left his mobile phones in his room.

After it, the family had filed a missing report with Dugri police in this context. He was supposed to leave for Delhi on Saturday to appear in the examination.
