Missing youth found dead, two booked

The body of a 19-year old student who went missing on Friday was found at an abandoned building in Sidhva Dona village here, on Sunday.

The deceased Davinder Singh, a resident of Machipal village here, was studying in Class 10 at a private school in the village.

He had been missing since Friday, when his two of his friends- Gurmukh Singh and Paviter Singh - took him for ride on their motorcycle. He did not return home.

On Sunday evening, some women found his body and informed the family.

Davinder's father Mangal Singh mentioned in the FIR that his son's friend Paviter told him that they had dropped Davinder near his house.

Mangal Singh alleged accused the friends of murdering his son and dumping the body.

Sadar station house officer Hargurdev Singh said a case had been registered against the friends under sections 304, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, on the basis of the father's complaint.

"Both accused have fled their houses, and the police are on the lookout for them," said the SHO
