Eighteen sports coaches from Madhya Pradesh are taking part in the Coach Development Programme and Referesher Training Course - organised by the Sports Authority of India - in Patiala Bengaluru Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
Of them six coaches belong to the Sports and Youth Welfare Department and two to police force. The training will continue till February 29 according to an official release issued here on Saturday.
The coaches from the state undergoing coaching at these camps include Swarn Singh Rao (football) Umesh Kumar Koshta (kabaddi) Praveen Kumar Pandey (wrestling)and Jai Singh Bhadoria (hockey).
Avinash Bhatnagar (hockey) Shailendra Singh (football) Premneti Roy (basketball) Ajay Richhariya (boxing) Preetesh Yadav (volleyball) Satyanarayan Singh Pawar (gymnastics) Ramarao Nagle (basketball) Vijay Barkia (wrestling) Sushri Kshipra Masih (athletics) Sandeep Gupta (volleyball) Paramjit Singh (boxing) Dhirendra Pratap Singh (athletics) Ashutosh Joshi (swimming) and Anjum Khan (hockey) are the other coaches.
