In a high-voltage drama, former CPS and BJP leader Sukhpal Singh Nannu and his close aides trained guns at sitting SAD member of Parliament and the SAD-BJP nominee from Ferozepur Sher Singh Ghubaya and state BJP chief Kamal Sharma during a rally at Nannu’s residence on Sunday evening.

In a jam- packed lawn of Nannu’s palatial bungalow, various speakers charged Ghubaya with allegedly ignoring him.

“I have shunted out the traitors who stabbed me during the assembly polls. But what compelled you to make them your blue-eyed boys in the past two years? Reply Sher Singh Ghubayaji?” questioned Nannu, while speaking from the dais.

“Why a few months ago, you and BJP state chief Kamal Sharma did not allow Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal to meet my supporters at his residence,” he asked in a thundering voice. “Where have you been during the last two years and for what purpose you have come to my residence. Why Kamal Sharma did not accompany you today,” he asked Ghubaya.

“Workers are so upset with you Ghubayaji that they are even ready to hurl stones at you, but they are not doing this because of me. They wouldn’t even allow you to move out of my house, if today don’t come in between,” thundered Nannu. “Why his close aides were implicated in false cases while Congressmen-turned-BJP leaders were rewarded with plum postings,” said Nannu.

“Be it truck union or auto union besides others, it’s only Congressmen, who greased the palm of some, had been allowed to take possession while traditional party workers are feeling the heat,” alleged Nannu.“He is ready to face any action but would not further tolerate the injustice with his men,” Nannu said.

‘EXPEL ME FROM PARTY IF ANYBODY HAS GUTS’

He also lashed out at state BJP president Kamal Sharma, who hails from Ferozepur. “My supporters are feeling the heat at the hands of stooges of Kamal Shar ma,” charged Nannu. “Those who have the guts, may expel him from the party but he would not bow in front of any individual,” said Nannu.

After a long speech, Nannu in the end claimed to be a true soldier of the party and asked the gathering to vote for the SAD-BJP nominee to ensure that Narendra Modi was made prime minister of India.
