Naruana, two others sent in judicial custody in Bathinda

The-government-brought-the-National-Judicial-Appointments-Commission-Act-into-force-on-Monday

The court of judicial magistrate (first class) Pushpa Rani, on Tuesday, sent Kulbir Singh Naruana, Amandeep Singh, a resident of Uhba village in Mansa district, and Rajbir Singh alias Raju from Jai Singh Wala in Bathinda, in judicial custody.

The three have been arrested in connection with injuring constable Gursewak Singh by opening fire at him from a rifle on the night of January 11 when the cop had gone to out of the station to check them while they, along with other accused, were wandering outside the police station. As many as 12 persons, including the three, have been booked on theattempt to murder charges.
