Urging students to become sportspersons rather than being mere spectators, he said that determination leads one to achieve one's goals.
The scheme, aimed at boosting sports in the country, will see a sports complex equipped with "modern facilities" for 11 outdoor and 5 indoor games constructed in each block in the district with an estimated cost of `1.75 crore. Three coaches are to be appointed in each sports complex to impart the training to students in different games.
