Navjot Kaur accused of ignoring Akalis in constituency

Claiming that BJP MLA from Amritsar (east) and chief parliamentary secretary Navjot Kaur Sidhu was ignoring the Akali councillors and other workers in the east constituency, district Akali Dal chief Upkar Singh said the matter would be taken up with party president and deputy chief minister Sukhbir Badal.

Talking to HT, district Akali Dal chief, Upkar Singh Sandhu said, "We will apprise our party leadership of the entire condition in the east constituency so that the matter could be discussed with BJP chief Kamal Sharma."

Sandhu also alleged that this was earlier discussed with Sidhu but it has brought no positive results.

He also slammed the BJP MLA for making wrong accusations against a couple of Akali leaders.
To a question, Sandhu said, "There is no problem as far as alliance with party is concerned but our complaint is against an individual."

Notably, Navjot Kaur Sidhu in the past few days has yet again fired fresh salvos against the state government by questioning its vision.

She had also questioned the working of Punjab BJP and mentioned that it was not in order.
