Navkaran Seehra, a BBA student of 2012 batch of Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE), secured the top position with 88% marks in the Punjab Technical University (PTU) examinations.
Another student from the institute, Takudzwa Noel, a Zimbabwe national, stood second with 86% marks whereas Manpreet Kaur from CBS Landran stood third with 85.50% in the university examinations.
PCTE student Roopreet Kaur bagged fourth position in the university by scoring 85.50% marks while Nagawa Happy Banda secured fifth position.
Buoyed by the success, topper Navkaran Seehra said, “It’s like dream come true and I thank god, my teachers and parents for my success who supported me all the time.’’ Takudzwa Noel said, “It was the constant support and guidance of faculty members who helped me to score well.” P Swapan Chanana, unit head, PCTE, said, “Navkaran Seehra is a focused students and I congratulate everyone and wish them good luck for the future.”
KNS Kang, director general, PCTE Group of Institutes said it’s the hard work of the students that they had been able to score well in their examinations.
