Nek Chand’s son creates 21 yoga sculptures out of ceramic waste

Anuj Saini, son of the creator of Rock Garden Nek Chand, will display his work at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, showing different form of yoga asanas through sculptures for International yoga Day event on June 21.

PM Modi will be viewing the sculptures en-route to Capitol Complex through Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Saini has come up with 21 sculptures made up of ceramic and waste tiles.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Saini, said, “I was approached by UT deputy commissioner Ajit Balaji Joshi to come up with sculptures showing yoga asanas.”

“I have made 21 protocol asanas and took about ten days to give them the final touches,” he added. After the event sculptures will be opened for public viewing, said sources in the administration.
