The Nepal government has allowed sewa (service) at a gurdwara here on the occasion of Guru Nanak's birth anniversary on November 17.

It has also invited pilgrims from across the world to celebrate Gurpurb at the Nanak Math gurdwara.

Giani Gurbachan Singh, Akal Takht jathedar, will preside over the celebrations. "It is a privilege for all Sikhs that the Nepal government has allowed sewa at the historic gurdwara visited by Guru Nanak," he said.

The two-day Akhand Path would start on November 15, Giani Gurbachan Singh said.
