NIIT Yuva Jyoti centre to prepare youth for jobs

National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) Yuva Jyoti (NYJ) centre was inaugurated in the city on Monday.

NIIT in association with National Skill Development Corporation has decided to help the youth in selecting careers by opting for programmes that best suit their aptitude.

NYJ president Sanjay Bahl said the centre would impart skills training across nine service sectors: retail, IT, education and training services, media and entertainment, healthcare, telecom, hospitality and informal sector.

The certification programmes range from four to nine months and offer occupational, communication, professional and life skills to make aspirants industry ready. NYJ also has career foundation courses of two months' duration in essential IT, spoken English and personality development. Interested persons can dial 18001032020 for course and admission details.
