The executive committee of National Institute of Technology Teachers' Association Hamirpur (NITTAH) has accused the institution director for following the policy of 'Divide and Rule' by convening separate meetings with teachers and staff according to their designations and making contradicting false assurances in each of the meetings.

During a meeting of the association here on Wednesday night, it took a strong view of the only appointment made in the four-tier system in July 2013 by flouting the rules.

The association demanded probe by the central agency into the appointments made by the director as there has been several interpretations of rules to favour some persons from time to time.

The association had also taken a strong view of deliberate pendency in solving various issues.

They demanded repatriation of deputy registrar (accounts) and deputy registrar (administration) immediately as they are hand in glove with the director in harassment of faculty members and staff by delaying their approvals and misinterpreting of rules.

The meeting also demanded posting of a regular registrar for the college as the present incumbent of post was holding the post for last six years on adhoc basis.
