No trace of missing child after 48 hours

More than 48 hours have passed since a Class-9 student of DAV School here went missing, but the police still remain clueless about the whereabouts of the child. The police, however, claim that they trying to trace him out.

Harshit, son of Harpal Singh, a resident of Amrik Singh road here, went missing when he had gone to attend tuition classes on Monday afternoon. His parents have lodged a complaint in this regard with the Kotwali police. Investigation officer, ASI Harjivan Singh said that the cycle of the child was found parked in front of a parcel house near the railway station on Monday afternoon, that leads to the suspicion that the child might have left the city in a train.
