PU will now issue migration certificates on the same day as the submission of application. Panjab University (PU) opened a 'migration window' at the PU administrative block on Wednesday, which was inaugurated by dean, university instructions (DUI) AK Bhandari.
Inter-university migration application would be received on the window from 10:30am to 12 noon
and migration certificate would be delivered from 4 to 5 pm on the same day, provided forms seeking the certificate has discrepancy and is submitted in the morning.
Application forms are available at PU's sale counter PU or can be downloaded from the PU website by paying a fee of `460 in cash or through bank draft drawn in favour of the registrar and PU payable at Chandigarh.
The form must be attested by a competent authority such as principal of the affiliated college, chairman of the teaching department, any gazetted officer, a fellow of the university or officers of the university not below the rank of superintendent.
For the duplicate migration certificate, the attestation should be done by the magistrate first class.
