Over twenty five injured as tempo overturns on Bathinda-Dabwali road

Over 25 people were injured when a tempo overturned on the Bathinda-Dabwali road near here on Sunday morning. The accident took place at about 10am when some residents of Nathana village were going in the tempo to attend a bhog ceremony in a nearby village and the driver of the tempo lost control and the vehicle overturned.

About 40 people were travelling in the vehicle. Investigating officer ASI Maghar Singh of the Sangat police station said that five of the injured have been admitted to a hospital while the rest, who had suffered minor injuries, were provided first aid discharged from the hospital.
