To express grief over the killings of school children in Peshawar, the Hisar Bar Association on Wednesday held a meeting and suspended work for the day to express solidarity with the Pakistan army to fight terrorism. The association has also sent letters to the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, through Pakistan embassy in Delhi, sharing the agony of the bereaved families and strongly condemning the attack.

In another resolution, the association turned down the request of lawyer Rajesh Sharma to consider apology for defying the association's decision by appearing in the court for one of the followers of Satlok Ashram head Ram Pal.

The bar association had cancelled his membership and asked him to vacate the lawyer chamber. Association president Surinder Dhull and secretary Amit Saini said whosoever violates the association's decision would be ousted for life.
